Sponsorship, partnership, grants and donations

The Organizing Committee will be partnering with several organizations throughout the world to help insure the success and global impact of One World 2011.

One World 2011 is a registered non-profit in the United States and is currently eligible to accept donations as a 501 (c)(3) organization.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for One World 2011 and several components of the event, including the youth exchanges, trade bazaar, medical conference, environmental conference, sports exchange and arts and cultural program. One World 2011 will receive visibility throughout the world with strategic marketing programs via the internet and televised events.

Seattle Children's Hospital (www.seattlechildrens.org), recognized as one of the leading U.S. hospitals for children, is partnering with One World 2011 and health care facilities from the Muslim world to conduct a major pediatric medical conference focusing on pediatrics - the health of infants, children and adolescents, and their growth and development.

Youth Exchanges

OneWorld Now!, A Project of the Tides Center (www.oneworldnow.org), will be responsible for arranging and conducting all youth exchanges. OneWorld Now! has operated a successful global leadership program for high school sophomores and juniors that offers a leadership series, classes in Arabic and Mandarin Chinese, summer language camps and study abroad opportunities. OneWorld Now! has been named as one of America's most innovative after school programs, has conducted dozens of youth exchanges with the Muslim world and is supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the US Department of Education, among many other highly respected organizations. OneWorld Now! will partner with organizations throughout the Muslim world, including the Jordan River Foundation in Amman, Jordan.

The Jordan River Foundation (www.jordanriver.jo) is Chaired by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan and is a non-profit Jordanian non-governmental organization. The vision of the Foundation is to "empower society, especially women and children, and in turn, improve the quality of life to secure a better future for all Jordanians." Youth exchanges between the Jordan River Foundation and OneWorld Now! are already underway.

 

Washington Youth Soccer Logo

Washington Youth Soccer (www.wsysa.com), a governing body for youth soccer organizations in Washington, is partnering with One World 2011 on youth soccer homestays and activities. Washington Youth Soccer will recruit parents and families from the greater Seattle soccer community to host visiting youth soccer players, run appropriate coaching and skills clinics, and organize a Soccer Festival, which will feature youth tournaments, cultural food booths, seminars, and more.

Trade Bazaar

Dozens of countries throughout the Muslim world and the West will participate in the One World 2011 Trade Bazaar to be held in conjunction with the event. The Trade Bazaar is being planned with the support of the United States Department of Commerce. The Bazaar will focus on IT; Real Estate and Construction, Agriculture, Banking, Investment and Finance; Transportation (auto, aviation, shipping and cargo); Tourism, Retail and Consumer Products; and Medical Equipment and Pharmaceutical Products.
